The questions people actually ask.
Placement, messages, gifting, and what the Cube will (and won't) do. Still curious? Ask us anything.
Placing it
Where should my first Cube go?
Think about the moment, not the room. Where would someone most need to hear something? For most homes that's the front door (on the way out) or the bathroom mirror (first thing in the morning).
Pick a spot people pass a few times a day rather than a hallway they cross fifty times.
Will it play every single time someone walks by?
Yes, it plays whenever it senses motion. In a busy spot, that's exactly when Shuffle earns its keep: rotate through a collection so it feels fresh instead of repetitive. Or save the busiest spot for a short, sweet message.
With a Duo or Trio, can each Cube say something different?
Yes. Each Cube plays its own message, so the kitchen can crack a joke while the bedroom offers a verse and the front door handles the keys reminder.
Messages & voices
What's the difference between the library and my own recordings?
The library is ready the moment you start: Bible verses and words of affirmation, each available in different voice personalities, so you choose how the words sound, not just what they say.
Your own recordings are anything else: inside jokes, a bedtime blessing, the checklist only your family would understand. Many people use both and switch between them.
Can I record my own favorite verse or prayer?
Absolutely. If the passage that means the most to you isn't in the library, record it yourself, or ask someone whose voice carries weight for you, like a pastor, a parent or a grandparent.
Can it be funny?
Please let it be funny. A little sass by the fridge goes a long way:
Back again? Didn't we just eat?
Pair a playful message with Shuffle and the house gets a personality.
How is the Cube different from a smart speaker or an alarm?
It doesn't answer questions, take commands or ring at a set time. It responds to people. The words arrive when someone actually walks in, which is what makes it feel personal rather than like another notification.
From a distance
Can I change the message on a Cube that's in someone else's home?
Yes, and you don't have to be there. Record and register a new message from anywhere in the country, and it's waiting the next time they walk in. It's perfect for a parent in another city, a kid in a college dorm, or a partner who travels.
Can the Cube recreate the voice of someone who has passed away?
No. The Cube plays real recordings. It doesn't generate, clone or imitate anyone's voice. That's why so many families record a loved one's favorite greeting while they can: the real voice, saying the real words.
Support & care
Can the Cube help someone who benefits from spoken reminders?
Many people find a calm, familiar voice easier to follow than a note on the fridge, especially when it's in the exact spot it's needed:
You're in the kitchen. Take your time.
It supports routines, independence and confidence.
Is it a medical or safety device?
No. The Cube doesn't monitor health, send alerts or contact anyone in an emergency. Think of it as a thoughtful companion to the people and systems already looking after someone, not a replacement for them.
Gifting & buying
How do I make the Cube a great gift?
Record a message before you give it, so the very first thing they hear is you. And because you can update it from anywhere, the gift keeps going: a new message on their birthday, the first day of a new job, or the end of a hard week.
Which set should I buy?
Single ($149) for the one spot that matters most. Duo ($249) for two rooms, or one to keep and one to give. Trio ($349) to give the whole home a voice.
